HERMAN POTT

The Herman Pott was built in 1973 by St. Louis Ship, St. Louis, MO. It is 168' x 40' and powered by two GM 16-645E5 diesel engines for a total of 5600 hp. Boat was used in the filming of TV film "The Rivermen" at St. Louis Dec. 1974. During the filming it was renamed RIVER KING. Owned by Federal Barge lines until sold in 1984 to Midland Enterprises, Cincinnati, OH.
