Beverage Industry Magnetic Regulator Mount

Made for the EBAY or AMAZON Homebrew Beverage 150psi regulator. Optionally includes two G-1/8 (1/8"BSP) plugs, one with a 3/32"OD brass tube soldered in place to fit Clippard 1/16" ID pneumatic hose.

Check both sites. Prices should be in the $25-$28 +/- range shipped for the regulator.

Magnetic Regulator Mount $4.00.     Magnetic Regulator Mount plus two brass G-1/8 (1/8"BSP) plugs, one with a 3/32"OD brass tube soldered in place to fit Clippard 1/16" ID pneumatic hose. $8.00.

Homebrew Beverage 150psi Regulator O-Ring Rebuild Kit. $2.00

Instructions to remove the regulator's gauge and brass adapter and install the two plugs. Yes, this voids any warranty on the regulator so make sure it works first!

They are sold on Ebay. Lately, all listings are for the "New" version but you do need to be aware of the "Old" one to avoid it.

The newer one has larger internal air passages and is constructed with serviceable O-Rings instead of custom rubber baffles.

Identify the new model by the small straight-sided pressure adjusting knob, the taller upper body and the seam where the upper and lower halves are threaded together is closer to the brass ports.

Some identical models are advertised as 60psi regulators. Don't buy a 60psi regulator. They cannot be converted to 150psi.

Magnetic holder for your regulator. Designed for the narrow bow area. Tilted to keep the liquid CO2 out of the regulator. Works with both the 12g (left) and 16g (right) CO2 cartridges.

Shown as sold on left. On the right, it can be sanded to keep the regulator and CO2 bottle as low as possible.

Destroyer Board V1.0

A voltage-regulated and Silicone Modified Conformal Coating-waterproofed control board for controlling a destroyer-sized ship plus three female JST pigtails. $30.00 ea. Modular construction eliminates wires and provides for quick field repairs in case of failure of the receiver or electronic speed controls for the motors or bilge pump.

Made for the Flysky FS-iA6 6-channel receiver used with the economical Flysky FS-i6 transmitter. (Also the Turnigy TGYi6 receiver.) Will also work with a FlySky FS-R6B receiver using the HobbyKing TGY-9XV2 9 channel transmitter. Transmitter protocols are subject to change. Make sure your 9X transmitter works with the FS-R6B receiver before ordering.

The FS-iA6 receiver looks like this:

The FS-iA6 receiver comes in a plastic wrap covering which has to be removed so you can waterproof the receiver's circuit board before using in RC Warship Combat.

Important: The Destroyer Board V1.0 will not work with the FS-iA6B quad-copter receiver, which comes with an alternate version of the FS-i6 transmitter kit.

NEW:  An updated version 1.1 of the Destroyer Board which allows me to install riser cards so you can plug in other receivers. Now available for the Turnigy 9X receiver, the Flysky FS-iA6B receiver, Spectrum end-pin AR6100e and angle-pin ED7000 receivers and possibly others with similar pin-out configurations.

The Destroyer Board takes the place a rats-nest of wiring in your ship. Plug in your FS-iA6 receiver, and two Electronic Speed Control Modules and everything else in your ship just plugs into the board using lightweight JST female connectors provided. The unit is powered by a "receiver pack" LiPo battery 2S 7.4v or 3S 11.1v for more power. Battery not included. 3S 1,000mA or 2S 1,500mA packs recommended. The built-in regulator supplies 5v to your receiver. The default settings let you steer with the left stick or right stick (as programmed on your transmitter), run the bilge pump from a top toggle switch and fire from another top switch you would replace with a button switch. It has an auxiliary servo tap for a 5th channel control of an accessory and regulated and unregulated voltage taps for accessories. The motor plugs run a pair of motors with counter rotating props. Although the channel settings will adjust to most Captains' requirements through transmitter programming, default channels can be changed on the board to accommodate your specific requirements using a jumper-pin section on the board.

The new board has been waterproofed. This includes spray-coating the back with Silicone Modified Conformal Coating and brushing the coating onto the board-side exposed brass connectors on the front of the module. This coating will glow under an ultra-violet (black) light. It should be regularly inspected and touched-up as needed. The (red) 5v regulator is epoxy dipped. NEVER APPLY EPOXY OR CONFORMAL COATING NEAR THE BLACK FEMALE CONNECTORS. IT WILL WICK UP INTO THEM AND CLOG THE PIN HOLES, POTENTIALLY RUINING THE BOARD. The black female connectors on the destroyer board should have grease applied to them to help lubricate the module pins and reduce possible corrosion. The servo and motor/pump output pins should be lightly greased. The leftover synthetic grease provided in your Fletcher/Gearing/Z-38 Destroyer Kit is good for this.

Acrylic Conformal Coating and Silicone Modified Conformal Coatings can be removed with solvents from the destroyer board without damaging the board for repairs. They can also be soldered-through when repairing. Epoxy coatings are permanent and not removable for repairing a circuit.

Epoxy-Dipped Waterproofed 10A Reversible ESC Module

Plugs directly into the Destroyer Board V1.0 to power a pair of brushed 385 or smaller motors and can also be used in the "Pump ESC Module" location to economically drive the bilge pump $12.00 ea.

Input voltage 4.8v-8.4v. PWM driver frequency 2 KHz.

Custom Switch/ESC Module

A pinned circuit board that plugs directly into the Destroyer Board V1.0 as a universal base to mount your own Brushed ESC, Brushless ESC or Electronic Switch. $2.50 ea.

Mount your own small ESC to drive your ship or mount a Brushless ESC or Switch onto this board to drive your ship's Bilge Pump. Board provides battery voltage-in and ESC voltage-out through the Destroyer Board for brushed drive motors or brushed bilge pump motors plus solder points for Signal and regulated 5V Power for switches that require 5V power to operate. Brushless pumps can be run by a brushless ESC mounted on the board. A brushless ESC outputs directly to the brushless pump motor by wires, or optionally through the module to a module-mounted 3-phase connector into an optional matching connector provided for you to attach to your pump motor wiring harness.

Examples include a Little Bee 20A Brushless ESC w/ Optional 3-phase module connector (Left Top), A Turnigy Switch (Right Top), A generic postage stamp-sized brushed ESC (Right), and two unbranded Ebay Electronic Switches. Each was removed from its packaging, connectors identified, trimmed and soldered to the board, tested for proper operation then dipped (except for the row of connector pins) into epoxy to encapsulate/waterproof the module.
