Rob's tugboat.
At first glance, it looks like any other tugboat...

Rob made his with a rather long skeg.
He modified the Vac-U-Tug to have towing capabilities and put the boat to
work at the Odom Atlanta sail club placing course markers. (see the LINKS
page).
(I have skeg-envy.)

He pulls a mark with chain and sinker
attached to a line, out at least 50 yards.
He installed a 7-cell 8.4 volt battery for 20% more horsepower to
overcome brisk headwinds.

Once in the right place, he pulled the mark
off the body board and it was set. A simple and very easy operation!
It is great to see a Vac-U-Tug actually working for a living. Great
job Rob!
