Designed for a 1:13 scale hydroplane, this .090 aluminum motor mount is designed specifically for long, heavy brushless motors with 1" face mount screw spacing. Base mount slots can fit a 6-32 machine screw. Mount provides 1/4" vertical and 5/8" horizontal adjustment for a Feigao style brushless motor. Epoxy the optional plywood base into your hull and you can easily remove the motor & mount assembly from your hull for cleaning or maintenance.
The Brushless Mount fits Feigao-style L, XL, and Neu 1515 motors without modification. There is room for standard aluminum and silicone water-cooling jackets. Front vent holes align with Neu Motor vent holes.
The Brushless Mount can be modified to fit Neu 1521 and 1527 motors by enlarging the face-mount slots for 4mm machine screws and enlarging the shaft hole to fit the 14mm raised hub around the shaft. Modifying the rear brace to accommodate larger aluminum water-cooling jackets may be necessary.

Installed with no modifications. Motor is secured to the mount with a nylon pull-tie to prevent bending the mount and damaging your drive hardware in an accident.

Probably too much motor for this mount. 4 base mount screws recommended. Still, nice looking!
