Manufactured specially for Vac-U-Boat, this product has a "hook" side designed for maximum cycling (opening and closing); This utilizes a lightweight hook to maximize cycle-life without minimizing performance. The "loop" side is a napped tape used in most standard closure applications. The rubber-based "19 Adhesive" is superior to the "standard" adhesive used on the retail packaged standard Velcro® hook & loop fasteners.
The "19 Adhesive" offers high performance on polypropylene and polyethylene (most R/C electronics are in this type of plastic case.) substrates! Velcro USA Inc.'s "19 Adhesive" was developed for superior performance with a good initial tack, excellent static shear, and an aggressive peel. It is a rubber-based adhesive with an operating temperature range of -20° F to 180° F. It has a peel strength of 8 pounds per inch width.
