Radio Controlled Duck Hull Kit

Status of new ducks: The decoys that I used to make the Vac-U-Duck have been discontinued. They have a new line of ducks that are an inch shorter and slightly wider that require me to re-tool. New oven, liner mold, and hull mold. While I'm at it, I plan to re-design the interior tray to accommodate an un-modified 6-cell pack that will be easy to change. I will be working on this project over the Winter with the goal of having the new line of ducks ready by Spring 2008. Sorry for the delay. The good news is that the new line of ducks will include six different species to choose from!  Stay tuned...

From its solid brass Schlage™ lid hinge to the stainless steel prop shaft supported by Oilite® bearings, the Vac-U-Duck is a fine example of a duck built better than it needs to be.

Note: Vac-U-Boat is not responsible if your Vac-U-Duck is so realistic that a nearby hunter shoots it by mistake.

No ordinary radio controlled decoy. Here at Vac-U-Boat, we have re-engineered a seamless hull to allow this normal sized 16 inch bird to hold 1- 3/4 POUNDS of standard R/C gear (your battery, radio receiver, electronic speed control & servo) and still look like a duck.

WHAT YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE DUCK:

Duck08.jpg (23199 bytes)

Two channel radio with standard servo, electronic speed control "ESC", 6 cell 7.2 Volt battery, and charger.  Small Phillips and Flat screwdrivers are needed for the servo and EZ-Connector.

WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU BUY THE DUCK:

Duck06.jpg (31458 bytes) Duck07.jpg (25207 bytes) Duck09.jpg (27124 bytes)
One Duck (Mallard Male shown), One Antenna Mast, and One Accessory Bag. The Accessory Bag contains a DUBRO EZ-Connector & a strip of Velcro® for assembly, and a tube of Super Lube & two Hex Wrenches for future maintenance. Inside the duck, you have a pre-installed Johnson® Motor and our own Motor-Shaft Coupling. The tray is ready for your 6-cell flat pack battery.

In the back is a pre-installed rudder arm and push rod. The tray supports a standard servo with pre-drilled holes and an ESC. All Vac-U-Ducks are fully painted as shown. The polyethylene hull is seamless. The lid is supported by a solid brass Schlage hinge and an acetal plastic latch. The drive system and rudder are already installed as shown. The rudder is supported by a solid brass shaft.

The bird is completely assembled with motor and drive system and is ready for your electronics.

How hard is it to put your radio gear into a Vac-U-Duck?
