September 20th, 2003 Meeting Photos:
Great day for a float.
Sunny, cool, light breezes, and possibly a record set for the number of tables
set up at a club meeting. The Air Show was sponsored by Vac-U-Boat. More on that
later...

| Frank's mosquito boat hull is ready for the
deck. Spray rails? installed helped keep the hull dry. |
Quite an assortment of craft. |
See what I mean about a record for table
attendance? |

Needs smaller hands or bigger boats. |
Chris is ready with the new Hot Shot Sprint
hydro. |
 |
 |
 |
| At the end of the day it was zipping along
pretty well. |
Close of hot engine. |
You can appreciate the size of the motor on
this Chris Craft... |

Matt brought the only sub of the day. |
Tug to the rescue! |

| Kens a cruisin. |
Later that day, the boat was found
mysteriously run aground and abandoned by its crew. |

Rescue of the day. Like an iceberg, 90% of
this boat is underwater. |

| Shawn's table. |
Sorry, couldn't run the air boat. But we
thought about it. |
OK, you got me. Checking the pull of a tug. |
 |
 |
 |
| Another scratch built hull in progress. |
Hard to take a photos of this one. Since the
motor stays cool (Bosch) just swap batteries and back out into the water. |
Nice air show near the end of the day. No
expense was spared to bring you this entertainment. |
September 6th, 2003 Meeting Photos:
Great day for a float.
Cloudy, cool, light breezes, and lots of folks stopping by to take a look. Two
meetings this month because of the mild weather. This first one on the sixth of
September. The numbers of Fast Electrics is increasing. Fortunately, no
collisions. Although, if this keeps up, we will need to set up a racing course
and get out the stopwatch.

As the day went on, these two
boats seemed to go faster. |

Getting a look inside the

Scratch built! |

 |
| I had several photos like this.
Lesson: Hold camera, or transmitter, not both! |
Cat again. |
Magnetic towing line. Works, but
would need to put magnets in everyone's boat. |
 |
 |
 |
| Another high speed pass. |
And another. Blonds have all the
fun. |
Scott's Wave Chopper. |

 |
| I think David's added a few more
details. |

| The Bosch motor everyone's
talking about. 5-poles, 12 volts, monster torque. |

"Vac-U-Tow" Tow Boat. |
John brought a float plane. |
It was a boat for about 15
seconds. |
