November 15th, 2003 at Briscoe.
The forecast was for cold weather but the
day turned out warm and beautiful. Steady breezes for the sailboats. A surprise
birthday party for Ken. Lots of geese and ducks were around. The park would be
pleased that we left the wildlife alone like we are supposed to.

| Apparently geese don't just fly in
formation. |
I've never seen a Woodie in the wild. Much
less, one this friendly! Cute duck! |
Great weather. A few more sailboats than
ususual. |

 |
 |
| Brought back my Midwest steam launch. If you
look close, you can almost see a wake. Need more horsepower. |
Calm seas for Ken's tug. |
Speaking of ken, his family snuck in a
birthday cake. They really pulled off a great surprise. They said
he was 75. No way... |

 |
| The culprits. I wonder what other secrets
they keep from him. Note the shirt. |
Just a relaxing photo. |
"Catalog Day" worked out well. Lots
of new ways to spend money were discovered. |
 |
 |
 |
| The calm waters attracted the two blond
dolls, no... really..., they are dolls, to go for a spin. |
Note the excitement in Paul's face, looking
toward the water, ready to take his Sea Dagger out for an awesome run. |
Oh yeah, speaking of Paul, this is
another view of his boat a short time later. Back to the pits! |
